Individual Counseling

Counseling is a conscious, scientific process that is a dialogue between a person who is a problem consultant, who understands any problem of the individual and advises and guides them properly, or both. According to Petersen, "consultation is the process of helping the person to adapt to the environment and get out of the problem". Personal counseling is one of the most effective methods of addiction treatment. It is essential to first understand the causes of addiction, in order to make the addict free, the counselor will know the reasons for the addiction by conducting a personal consultation and keeps these elements confidential. Only when a person understands the source of the problem will he be able to solve his problem. Personal counseling plays an important role in this regard.

Family counseling

Family counseling is a family or group consultation to solve a group or individual problem. A counselor must first identify the source of the problem. To know the source of the problem, he or she must work with the individual and family. The whole family is in hardship due to one person's problems in the family and all members of the family are suffering. For example, if a person is addicted to drugs in a family, the family will suffer socially, psychologically, and financially. It is therefore advisable to do family counseling in addiction recovery centers for family members of the addict.

Group counseling

Group counseling is a type of consultation. "A consultation that brings together people who have the same problem and has the same mindset is called group counseling." This is how counseling is used in addiction care centers, where multiple people with the same problem are recorded to be addicted to addiction. Since all problems are the same, no consultation can be done. Many people's problems can be solved.
